I cannot believe it's been so long since I updated my blog. I am so sorry! The truth is, normally, I'd be posting all my great swaps from the summer mini catalog right now...well...funny story about my swaps. I needed to get my swaps to Denver, CO. Unlike previous times, I actually sent them by priority mail 9 full days before they were due. They went all the way to Denver, then took a U-Turn to Massachussets!! By the time they worked their way back to Denver, they were one day too late :( Lucky for me, instead of getting my 25 swaps back, my friend, Tara, will take them to convention and swap them there. So, I will have samples for you...just not yet!
I'm very sorry to be missing convention this year. The main reason is that in April, I had my 10th anniversary with SU and there's a special walk across the stage for just that "year" group. I would love to be there and walk with my wonderful friends, Kim, Betty, and many others!!! I can't believe it's been that long! (do you think I have issues with time? I always joke that my daughter's dancing runs on "Irish" time instead of real time..maybe I do too?
The great news is that the new catalog is here!! If you would like a copy and live local, I have them here, just give me a call to come and get your copy. If you'd like me to mail you one, I will send it directly to you for just $9.95 plus $4.95 shipping. I just need a credit card or a check and I will place your order. We have great new colors and lots of fun new doodads so be sure to get your copy today!
If you are a "My Digital Studio" owner/user, be sure to check for updates and get all the new IN COLORS for FREE! These are 12x12 inch pages that I created in MY DIGITAL STUDIO and then exported as .jpg files so they act just like photos. This program really has a lot of options when you start to work with it!
I just returned from a whirlwind trip to the West Coast to spend some time with my husband's family. We panned for gold, Molly rode a horse, Ben learned to drive a stick shift, and Jake jumped off a cliff into the chilling river in Yosemite Natioinal Park. We also visited UC Berkeley (anyone that knows me, knows that is my husband's alma mater) and had a few hours in San Francisco. In my down time, I started to digitally scrapbook some of our photos. It's quick and easy and I can actually make different books and import the same pages into each one as I like (make a family book, then also make books for each child for example). You can learn more at www.mydigitalstudio.net. The patterned letters use new available downloads, "simple alphabet punches". Click each photo to get a closer view!
Have a great day!
~Kathleen
