Good morning! Happy Memorial Day! I'm having a spur of the moment bag sale today and tomorrow.  Can't make it but are still interested?  Email me at StampingKat@aol.com to set up an appointment.

I've pulled out all of my boxes of old stamping supplies. There is so much stuff :) I'm not
organized enough to launch a full sale yet, but I'm offering a preview to my best customers.

If you'd like to come shop, the cost is $25 per person. You will get a large, paper grocery bag. Fill it to the brim and take it home! Anything that spills over costs another bag :)

I'm available today, Memorial Day (call and let me know when you'd like to come by-anytime is fine) or tomorrow between 4-6pm. First come = first served. If you know anyone else that would be interested, please let them know!

In the meantime, here is the swap I just completed for my new swap group! The paper is featured in the new catalog (called Floral District) as is the stamp set (in the hostess section).  New catalog starts June 1st! Contact me to order yours today.  I glued the strips of paper to the white card stock and then rolled the entire piece through the big shot with an embossing folder. It gives it sort of a quilted look!

3D Cardstock Flowers

So over the past few months, my younger sister and I have been working on a "re-do" of my 10 year old daughter's room. We've done all sorts of sewing and crafting projects. One of our accidental "wow's" was these 3D flowers we made for her wall.  Click here to go right to her blog and see more, plus get the template and the tutorial. 

 

I used the cricut gypsy to create the flower image, but you can find a template on my sister's blog at www.thehomesIhavemade.blogspot.com. We used melon mambo and pumpkin pie cardstock and the fabulous scoring tool to create a whole bouquet!!  Hop on over to Meg's blog to see the full tutorial and the whole room re-do which will be featured in the next few weeks!

Some "mini" projects

Well, after spending all that effort getting this blog back up and running where it's supposed to be, I thought maybe I should post a new project or two!  My sister and I are busy "upgrading" my daughter's bedroom, and so most of our creative efforts are headed towards that. In addition, my parents are celebrating their 50th anniversary in June, so my siblings and I are also working up lots of goodies for that as well. In fact, this weekend, my sister and I are hoping to get the invites done.  They are beautiful pool party cardstock with black accents...I'll post pictures when we are done!

In the meantime, here are some cute little "favor" boxes I made for Molly's teacher and her Irish dance teacher for St Patrick's Day. I used the fancy favor box and the lattic big shot die, then stamped address labels and added them to the chocolate bars.  Quick and cute!

And not just for cardstock!! Use your tools for anything and everything. Here, my daughter and I used the circle punches (1 1/4 and 3/4 inch) to cut Stampin' Up! vinyl (rose red and pumpkin pie- sorry those colors were discontinued, but you can find the current colors on page 216.)  Oh, looks like they are called "decor element sheets".  There you go!
